Don’t forget to stroll down to see the Kenesaw Public School Homecoming Parade on September 26th! The parade is a long-standing tradition here in Kenesaw. Come see all the KPS elementary kids and teachers don their Kenesaw blue in their show of school pride. You also won’t want to miss the Junior and Senior High class floats supporting our Kenesaw Blue Devils as they prepare to face the Alma Cardinals in the big homecoming game. It’s always entertaining to see what ideas and slogans the kids will come up with. Mixed in with all of that will be more floats from local groups and businesses including our own Kenesaw Volunteer Fire Department’s fire and EMS equipment. You’ll also get a sneak peek at the 2014 Homecoming Court. Plus…they’ll all be throwing CANDY so don’t forget a sack for your goodies! Just be sure to keep the kids from scooting too far out in the street during the parade. We try to make sure the candy gets thrown out as far as possible but some pieces just don’t make it sometimes so we appreciate all your watchful eyes. Come check it all out…downtown Kenesaw at 1:30!
